totesport
The ECB announced totesport as the latest and final partner to the Twenty20 Cup in June 2007.
The deal for 2007 gives totesport branding and advertising rights at all Twenty20 Cup matches.
ECB Commercial Director John Perera said: “The ECB is delighted to welcome totesport back to cricket; this time as a Twenty20 Cup partner.
"We had a successful relationship with them throughout their sponsorship of the totesport League in 2004 and 2005 and I am confident that this partnership will prove just as rewarding.”
Trevor Beaumont, chief executive of the tote commented, “Following the success of the totesport League we always wanted to get back into cricket sponsorship and to become a partner of the Twenty20 Cup is a fantastic opportunity.
"This deal emphasizes the fact that totesport will, if the opportunity is right for the brand, look to supplement our traditionally strong support for horseracing with other high quality sporting events, of which the Twenty20 Cup is right at the top.”
