Kent CCC will host the British Universities Sports Association Men’s Cricket Final on Tuesday at their St Lawrence Ground.
For the second consecutive year the final will be contested by Loughborough UCCE and Durham UCCE, the former being current holders.
Loughborough secured their place in the final after beating The University of Nottingham in the semi-finals whilst Durham overcame Cambridge UCCE.
Both finalists have had successful league programmes this year, Loughborough finishing top with five wins from six, and Durham taking second with four wins. In their league encounter Loughborough took the points, winning by 63 runs.
With county-contracted players in both sides, the 50-over match is sure to be an exciting affair. Play starts at 11am and entrance to the ground is free.
