England confirm summer dates

England have confirmed their home itinerary for 2007 when they host West Indies and India while Sri Lanka A will also be touring.

It promises to be an action-packed summer as England follow up their World Cup campaign with seven npower Test matches, 10 one-day internationals and two Twenty20 internationals.

The four-match npower Test series against West Indies begins with back-to-back Tests. Lord's hosts the first Test, which gets under way on May 17, before the second Test at Headingley Carnegie, which begins on May 25.

The Test series concludes with further back-to-back Tests. The third Test at Old Trafford Test starts on June 7 and the final match at the Riverside begins on June 15.

The tourists then start their one-day schedule when they take on England A at New Road on June 21.

England`s summer continues with two NatWest Twenty20 internationals against West Indies at the Brit Oval on June 28 and 29.

They then host the three-match NatWest one-day series against the same opposition, which begins on July 1 at Lord's before moving on to Edgbaston on July 4 and Trent Bridge on July 7.

India warm up for the three-match npower Test series with a three-day game against England A at Chelmsford, beginning on July 13.

The series again gets under way with back-to-back Tests. Lord's again hosts the first Test which starts on July 19 before the second Test at Trent Bridge on July 27.

India have a three-day game against Sri Lanka A at Grace Road beginning on August 3 before the third Test at the Brit Oval which commences on August 9.

The Asian tourists meet England A again in a one-day game at Northampton on August 18 as a prelude to the seven-game NatWest Series with England beginning on August 21 at the Rose Bowl.

Both sides then head to Bristol for the second game on August 24, Edgbaston on August 27 and Old Trafford on August 30.

England`s summer reaches its climax as the series continues at Headingley Carnegie on September 2 before the Brit Oval on September 5 and Lord's on September 8.
