This coming weekend and the week following sees the completion of the quarter-final stage of the ECB 50+ County Championship.
The play-off round of the last 16 teams was completed between 27-30 July and has produced the following draw for the last eight:
Somerset (beat Essex) v Yorkshire (beat Buckinghamshire) - Sunday August 17, venue tbc
Cheshire (beat Sussex) v Leicestershire (beat Gloucestershire) - Wednesday August 20, Upton CC
Wales (beat Kent) v Oxfordshire (beat Hampshire) - Sunday August 17, Newport, venue tbc
Channel Islands (beat Northamptonshire via a bowl-out) v Lancashire (beat Norfolk) - Grainville CC, Jersey
The winners of the above four ties will progress into the semi-finals of the competition, which are scheduled to take place on Sunday August 24, with the final giving the competitors a chance to play at the home of cricket, taking place at the Lord’s Nursery Ground on Sunday September 28.
