Northumberland name strong side

Northumberland travel to local rivals Cumberland hopeful of a successful finish in the final game of their season.

A large number of supporters are expected to make the journey westwards should the weather hold at the delightful Keswick CC.

David Rutherford and Ian Pattison make a welcome return to a side that also includes debutant off spinner Jon Malkin.

Malkin’s Blaydon CC team mate Gary Stewart misses out as 12th man while Philip Nicholson is again bothered with the hand injury that has plagued him all season, handing Adam Cragg the chance to deputise for him behind the stumps.

Marc Symington will undertake the captaincy duties.
