Changes to ECB Clubmark criteria
ECB has announced some changes to the criteria for ECB Clubmark, effective immediately.
Overseas players-coaches information
Cricket clubs, under the changes to the UK immigration system, will now need to obtain a 'sponsor licence' in order to bring over players and coaches from outside the EU.
Offers to clubs from Durant Cricket
Durant Cricket Ltd has signed up as an Official Supporter of NatWest CricketForce 2009 - and is offering all registered clubs discounts on various products from their range of covers, sightscreens and mobile cages.
Double tops for Olten
Olten & West Warwickshire celebrated two league trophies and it would have been a glorious treble were the first XI not pipped at the post for promotion in the Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League Third Division.
Premier Leagues crown 12 new champions
The 2008 ECB Premier Leagues were plagued by some of the wettest weather in living memory as hundreds of matches were cancelled or abandoned due to rain.
Ormskirk crowned champions of Liverpool
Ormskirk went four whole weeks without a win yet still achieved 16 victories from 26 matches in 2008 to take the Business Assistance Liverpool and District Premier Cricket title with a five point advantage over last years champions Bootle and ten points ahead of third placed New Brighton.
Netherfield clinch Northern title
The 3D Sports Northern Premier ECB League reached an exciting conclusion as Netherfield were crowned champions after a dramatic final day's action.
Moddershall triumphant in defeat
Moddershall lost their final match of the season but in claiming seven Little Stoke wickets on their way down, they collected the three bowling points they needed to clinch the championship title in the Waterworld North Staffs and South Cheshire Premier League.
