Canada sealed fifth place in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier after they thrashed a miserable Bermuda by eight wickets on Tuesday.
After dismissing their opponents for a meagre 70, Canada lost just two wickets during the most one-sided game of the tournament so far.
While Bermuda's batsmen played a series of rank shots to get out, Canada's players picked off the required runs without a care in the world.
On a grey morning, it was no surprise that Canada opted to field first after winning the toss.
Bermuda opener Chris Foggo played a couple of pretty shots in the first over, a thumping square cut being the pick of them, but he fell to Sanjay Thuraisingam's sixth ball when he clipped off his legs straight to the fielder at deep square leg.
The second Bermuda wicket fell in the next over, Orande Bascombe chipping Henry Osinde straight to Steve Welsh who was loitering in the covers.
It was soon 17 for three as Osinde trapped Steven Outerbridge leg before in the fourth over.
The wickets kept tumbling when James Celestine nicked Welsh to first slip and then two balls later the same bowler pinned George O'Brien in front for a duck.
The misery continued as Bermuda were reduced to 47 for seven when opener Oliver Pitcher, who saw five wickets fall while at the non-striker's end, was caught for 15 - one of two double figure scores - soon followed by Jekon Edness who was was leg before to Sunil Dhaniram.
Harvir Baidwan, who destroyed the Netherlands three days earlier, proved that burst was not a flash in the pan when he dismissed Rodney Trott and Kyle Hodsoll in successive deliveries.
Bermuda somehow lasted their full allocation of deliveries, but only just, their last wicket falling on the final ball of the innings.
Canada began their chase in dreadful fashion when Muhammad Qazi was caught first ball, dragging a half-tracker from O'Brien straight to Pitcher at midwicket.
John Davison, Canada's star player, and Geoff Barnett repaired the damage with a series of fine shots - the former drove O'Brien beautifully down the ground while the latter played a wonderful pull shot which gave Pitcher, patrolling the square-leg boundary, no chance.
The shot of the morning belonged to Davison - a huge blow down the ground off Stefan Kelly which cleared the long-on boundary and almost ended up in the press tent.
He was caught trying a repeat of the shot later in the over, well caught by Foggo at mid-off for 19.
Canada motored on regardless with Barnett playing in a carefree manner and Ashish Bagai providing useful support.
The pair suffered few alarms as they comfortably hunted down the winning total, which duly arrived in the 11th over courtesy of a wide - rather apt considering the dire Bermuda performance.
